Our purpose
For more than 25 years, Alpha-Omega Orthotics & Prosthetics has been seeking ways to alleviate the emotional distress and the physical limitations that injury, pain and amputation can bring. We understand the hurt, fear, pain, and anxiety that comes when faced with using a prosthetic or orthotic device.
At Alpha-Omega, we welcome the opportunity to explore new technologies and develop systems for our patients that will meet their specific needs. We do this with the utmost care, compassion, respect, and timely service.

Owner and practitioner
Ronald A. Vahl,
B.P.S., CPO
Ronald earned a degree specializing in Prosthetics and Orthotics from Memphis State University in 1981. With post-graduate training from Northwestern University, Chicago, he has more than 39 years of clinical experience in the field. He has three-and-a-half years of teaching experience in prosthetics and orthotics at the University of Texas. He is the founder of the company, opening his doors in 1997.

Robert Mays,
BOCPO
Robert has more than 23 years of experience in the orthotic and prosthetic field. He started out as a technician in the early years and then attended Missouri State University and is now certified through the BOC credentialling system. He is experienced in all forms of Orthotic and Prosthetic fabrication. Robert believes in getting to know and understand the patient and works closely with them to deliver the best service and devices as possible.

Christa Vahl,

With more than 30 years of office management experience, Christa navigates physician and insurance communication for optimum patient results of your claim. She is well-versed in insurance protocol (25+ years) and is an ABC–Certified Fitter in orthotics. Christa maintains her continuing education requirements so our patients receive the highest level of care. She coordinates care and billing with our practitioners, your doctors, and your insurance companies.
